Who we are
Heard it Media (“we”, “us”) is a marketing, content creation and web development studio based in Toronto, Canada, working with clients in Canada, Kuwait, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through hearditmedia.net, why, and what choices you have.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use our contact form we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and your message.
Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the website secure and running. We do not use these logs to identify you.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, we ask whether you agree to optional cookies. Nothing optional runs until you choose, and you can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Essential. The website stores your Day/Night display preference and your cookie choice in your browser so they are remembered. These are needed for the site to work and do not identify you.
Analytics (optional). If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. Google sets cookies (such as _ga) and receives your IP address. We use this only in aggregate to improve the website.
Marketing (optional). If we run ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or TikTok, we may use their pixels to measure how our ads perform. These only load if you accept marketing cookies.
Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address.

How we use your information
We use the information you send us only to reply to your enquiry, discuss and deliver our services, and keep a record of our communication. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider and, if you accept the related cookies, Google Analytics and our advertising partners (Meta and TikTok). They receive only what they need to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Where your information is stored
Our website is hosted on servers located in Germany, and we use email services that may store data in other countries. Wherever your information is processed, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at hearditmedia@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
